โพ๏ธWhat do I need to buy for my player?
๐Each player will be provided a jersey and hat by the league. Parents will provide pants, socks, belt, cleats, glove, helmet and bat. Face masks are not required unless playing a position deemed appropriate for a face mask (catcher/pitcher).
โพ๏ธWhat color pants, socks and belt do I need to buy?
๐Your childโs coach will tell you once you are assigned to a team.
โพ๏ธWhat kind of bat does my player need?
๐Bat weight/length is determined on childโs size and strength. Your coach or an associate at Dickโs Sporting Goods can answer specific questions. Bats cannot exceed 33โ in length or 2 & 5/8โ in diameter.
๐Ages 3-4 use a tee and must use an official tball bat marked USA or a one piece wood bat.
๐Ages 5-10 cannot use a tball bat and they must be marked USA or a one piece wood bat.
๐Ages 11-12 can use use USA, BBCOR -3 or a one piece wood bat.
โพ๏ธWho is my childโs coach?
๐Players will be assigned to coaches after registration is completed. Your coach will contact you via the number used to register the player.
โพ๏ธWhat days will my child be practicing/playing games?
๐All games are scheduled on weekday evenings. We will not know what the schedule for a team/player until all players and coaches are registered. Once games start, practices are no longer held. Prior to games, your coach may request practice attendance during the week.
โพ๏ธ When will tryouts be held?
๐In Fall Ball, we do not hold a tryout. All players are divided and assigned to a team/coach. Fall Ball typically is less competitive and is more focused on development rather than team rankings.
โพ๏ธMy child has never played baseball before, so can they play with the younger players?
๐No. Players must play with their appropriate age group. Very simply put, whatever the age of the child is during the season is what age they must play with. At no time can a player be on a younger team. However, a child can โplay-upโ to the next age level if they have the skill set to do so. Requests must be made via email ([email protected]).
