Quad Squad Northwest is officially 10 years old! That’s a solid decade of professional line-tangling, chasing wind that doesn't exist, and looking incredibly cool while doing it.
A massive thank you to our amazing friends, family, and fans who have supported our addiction—er, passion—for the last 10 years. We couldn't do it without you!

So, we're finished at Ocean Shores, we had a great time, wonderful friends and audience, perfect weather...
So, what's next, you ask?
Ha ha! Well, as you read this, we are eagerly preparing for next weekend, when we will be performing at the Rockaway Beach kite festival.
Friday, the 19th, most of us will be there, getting all set up. And flying (if the wind is there!).
Saturday is the big day, best to see a good performance.
Sunday, the festival usually goes till about 2 pm, then starts wrapping up as the flyers prepare to get back home so they can work the next day. (What's that all about??)
So, you've got three days to see us perform, to meet the team, grab some free smiles, and maybe get some free lessons to start your own flying career.
If you just want to watch, the best viewpoint is behind the flyers. That way, you see the patterns they see, much, much better than from the sides and a lot better than from the front.

A wonderful night at Ocean Shores Festival of Lights. Flying some lighted kites, with team Quad Squad North West members Robert Gillcash, Eric Mikkelsen, and Tim Allbee, along with some good kite flying friends keeping us on our feet.
Even a tip wrap does not stop a good flyer for long, even adversity is overcome quickly.
