The fishing has been up and down, but we have been seeing lots of quality reds and sheepshead, and a black drum or twin mixed in. This past weekend was a redfish beat down with tons of quality fish 23-30 inches. Kept just enough for a couple dinners and left a pile out there. This is an excellent time of year for a mixed bag. Sheepshead, trout, reds, and blacks are all in play at the moment. If you are looking to go nearshore fishing the big Black Sea bass bite has been about a garuntee every trip the weather permits.
