UPDATE: We have identified a suspect/s believed to be involved in the theft of our LP’s. The information has been passed along to MSP and DSP. Due to at least a suspect/s being believed to have been involved in a handful of other thefts in Indian River, Ocean City and other surrounding areas MSP/DSP has asked that we refrain from commenting

Hey Everyone, we’re putting the internet to the test today. Last night we had 2 S2-1200 LP’s stolen off our boat. Our boats surveillance video shows the first suspect boarding the TOP DOG between 2:37-2:39am and his accomplice staying onboard their small boat. We are composing a video including still shots of the suspects and their boat for release to the internet today, we should be able to include multiple angles from our dock and the houses across the creek.

We’re offing a **$5,000**cash reward for any information leading to the capture and arrest of the suspects.

This morning a 20cent fuse in our steering system took a crap 2 separate times comprising our steering and landing us aground headed out of Oregon Inlet for day 2 of the Pirates Cove Billfish tournament. Thanks to the quick work of Bayliss Boatworks and some friends back home we got our steering issue straightened out, spare wheels brought down, swapped and are back in the water ready for a big final day before we head north for the Mid Atlantic 500. I’m happy no one was hurt, proud of my crew and the way they always handle unforeseen situations and blessed to give it another Go tomorrow. LET’S GET IT. - TD

That’s a wrap! Day 4 of the HVOO was very slow for us. We released a mako and unfortunately that was our only bite of the day. Congratulations to all of this years winners!! As we say each year, we already can’t wait for next year. We love Hatteras NC and we love the fishing even more!!

Day 3 of the HVOO in the books. Today wasn’t all good and it wasn’t all bad for us. We had a mechanical failure this morning 2 miles from the fishing grounds that left us fishing almost the entire day on 1 engine. Thanks to our Starlink and through some collective efforts on land we were able to have the necessary parts delivered from Wanchese to Hatteras and then delivered offshore to us so we could come home with both engines. The day may have started out rough for us but we still managed to overcome our issues and capture a white marlin and blue marlin with one engine, however we were bumped off the leader board for heaviest fish. 1 day to go, 1 bite away.

Day 2 of the Hatteras Village Offshore Open is in the books…There was some dang gon’ good fishing too!! 33 blue marlin (4 boated), 7 white marlin and a bunch more billfish sitings between 43 boats!! We were fortunate enough to connect with this big girl and take her for a boat ride, she weighed 528.7, we are currently sitting in second place for heaviest fish. There’s still 2 more days and we’re hoping the fishing holds up as with the weather. Lines in at 0800, good luck to everyone!
