Saturday was such an amazing day of competition. I wish I was a spectator to sit and witness some of the incredible competition and matches.

Before we start organizing for the 24th Ocean City Classics, I have to thank some of the many people that helped make the Classics possible.

I first thank God for allowing us all to be apart of Saturday's Classics. I have to give a big thanks to Jack Shellenberger for running a seamless Jiu-jitsu tournament. Thanks you Shelby Laws for directing our Karate tournament with little to no issues. I have to thank our staff coordinator Emily Jolly for organizing our staff and being our Uventex support expert all day long. Thanks to our coordinators, Melissa Laws and John Ostrander. Thanks to Ward Holland for being arbitrator of the event. Thank you to Heather Saldanha for all your help. Thank you to Jill Freeman Martin for the amazing picture and Travis Martin for your help all day long. Thank you Jessica Bowden for your leadership and tech support all day. I have to thank all our sponsors for your amazing support of the Classics. Thanks you to Ryan James, Neely James for your support and help all year long. Just 9 days away from the 23rd Classics!! Today is the last day of normal registration for the Karate tournament. You will still be able to register for Jiu-jitsu until the 8th and Karate registration will be available up until your event starts next Saturday. Competitors will be able to register for Karate at the door.

This will be the most organized, family friendly tournament you will attend. We will be awarding over $5000 in cash prizes!! You get to witness two tournaments at the same time with top talent on both sides......here on the Eastern Shore!!!

Spectators can pay at the door.....just $20 gets you in to witness both tournaments!! Children 5 and under are free.

It is sometimes hard to believe how this tournament has grown over the past 23 years. This shouldn't be happening on the Eastern Shore.

Two tournament, 15 supportive sponsors, over $5000 in cash awards, eight Karate grand champions, multiple absolute champions and a eight man blackbelt invitational!! Also new Olympic size custom medals for each division winners!! Please don't complain about the $20 spectators fee......what a deal!!!

Just 10 days left of normal registration for the Classics!!! This year's Classics is coming together to be one of the best!!
Jack Shellenberger and I have put together an event like no other......with nearly $5000 in cash awards. Blackbelt invitational with eight Blackbelts grappling for $1600 in cash prizes. Full day of exciting Martial Arts competition right in our back yard!!!
