We are HARD AT WORK transforming Coastal Fitness (soon to be Pure Family Fitness — North Ocean City) into the best workout destination on the shore 🔥

🚨 BRAND NEW EQUIPMENT 🚨 was moved into the gym last week, taking out a massive amount of older pieces and adding more space & functional training area in the gym (and way more space to move around between machines)!

Huge shoutout to our amazing Pure Family Fitness team members that helped us in this massive project… on the day it was pouring rain (unfortunately we didn’t get photos of that, but it would’ve been quite entertaining).

We've got an amazing recipe for you from

Frozen Cottage Cheese Bark, packed with high protein, is an absolute must-try! 👏👏👏

I opted for the classic and delightful combo of peanut butter and chocolate, adding a sprinkle of granola for that perfect crunch. Let me tell you, I'm completely hooked! 😍🙌🏼

Here's how to whip it up:

Ingredients:

2 cups (16 oz) cottage cheese
2 Tbsp honey or maple syrup
2 Tbsp peanut butter
3 Tbsp chocolate chips
3 Tbsp granola

Instructions:
1️⃣ Blend cottage cheese, honey, and peanut butter until smooth. Pour the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spreading it evenly into a rectangular shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
2️⃣ Melt chocolate chips and add teaspoon-sized dollops onto the cottage cheese. Use a knife to swirl it around. Sprinkle on granola.
3️⃣ Place in the freezer for about 3 hours or until the cottage cheese is firm. Cut or break into 16-20 pieces and serve.
4️⃣ Store leftover bark in a sealed freezer bag for up to 3 months.

Saturday's featured recipe looks amazing & comes to you from

🍕Chicken crust pizza

Did you know you can make a delicious high protein + lowcarb pizza with chicken?
As with any other pizza, it’s your move on the toppings. This one’s got marinara sauce, green peppers, onions, olives, pepperoni, and then crowned with truffled burrata cheese and fresh basil.
Here’s how to make it:
1.Preheat your oven to 425F. Take 1 lb raw boneless + skinless chicken thighs and OPTIONAL: trim off excess fat.
3.Put the chicken thighs in a food processor and process well with 3 garlic cloves, 1 large egg, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tbsp Italian seasoning or oregano. Process well until you have a ground chicken mixture, then add 1/2 cup asiago or parmesan cheese, and process again for a few more seconds.
4.Grab a pizza pan or sheet pan, spray it with avocado oil, add your pizza “dough” and make a very thin layer of crust with the full crust mixture. Depending on the size of your pan, you can get 2 pizzas out of the mixture. Oh, and it doesn’t need to be a certain shape. You can do it in a sheet pan, as a circle, or anything that you like.
5.Bake for 27-30 minutes at 425F, or until golden crispy. Keep an eye on the oven starting the 20 minute mark as ovens vary. Remove from the oven.
To make the rest of the pizza:
6.Remove crust from the oven, put on your sauce + toppings, then put back in the oven for another 5-6 minutes depending on your toppings.

ROASTED PEPPER SHRIMP AND QUINOA✨an easy and nourishing recipe that is packed with protein and is quick to throw together on busy weeknights! I also love recipes like this for meal prep because the flavors continue to meld together and are even better the next day. If you’re like me and you always seem to have a jar of roasted red pepper lingering in your fridge or pantry, this is the recipe for you!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups quinoa
3 cups chicken bone broth
1 lb shrimp
1/2 cup roasted red pepper, small diced
2 cups parsley, chopped
4 Persian cucumbers, quartered and diced
Marinade:
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small shallot, diced
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp salt, divided
1/4 tsp pepper

Directions:
In a small saucepan over high heat bring the quinoa, bone broth, and1/2 teaspoon of salt to a boil
Once boiling, reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 20 minutes or until most of the liquid has been absorbed
Keep it covered and let it rest for a few minutes then fluff with a fork
While the quinoa is cooking, make your shrimp marinade by whisking together the olive oil, lemon juice, shallot, garlic, honey, salt and pepper in a glass or bowl
Add your shrimp to a bowl and add the diced roasted red pepper, stirring to coat the shrimp in the marinade, using the remaining 1/2 tsp salt, and let marinate for 10-15 minutes
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat
Pour the shrimp and marinade into the skillet and cook the shrimp in a single layer for 2 minutes, flip and cook for another 2 minutes then remove the skillet from the heat
Once the quinoa and shrimp have cooked, add both so a large bowl, using a slotted spoon to separate the shrimp from the marinade
Add your chopped parsley and cucumbers to the quinoa and shrimp and toss gently to combine
Spoon the heated marinade over the shrimp and quinoa mixture (use as much or as little as you like - I personally use it all!)
Season with more salt and pepper, serve, and ENJOY!

MATCHA CHIA PUDDING😍🍵 love this chia pudding soooooo MATCHA! It’s rich in fiber, antioxidants and healthy fats and it’s super yummy and satisfying!! It can be enjoyed as a snack, breakfast or dessert, it’s meal-prep friendly, can be added to overnight oats as a layer or yogurt bowls. It keeps you full for hours.

Ingredients:�1 1/2 -2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder�2 cups cashew milk (or any dairy-free milk)� 1/2 cup chia seeds �2 tablespoons maple syrup�1 tsp vanilla extract�2 tbsp coconut cream
Whipped cream (optional)

Directions:�1. In a bowl or mason jar, mix the matcha green tea powder with the cashew milk and whisk until smooth and not clumped. You can use a blender too. Add the coconut cream and chia seeds and whisk well.
2. Add in vanilla extract and maple syrup. Whisk again.
3. Refrigerate overnight!
4. In the morning, serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
