💚 WELCOME TO THE FARM HOP 💚
This week, the Farm Hop family grew again!
Every week I’m reminded that the future of local food isn’t some distant dream, it’s already here.
It’s in the family raising beef down a country road.
It’s in the mom baking sourdough for her community.
It’s in the farm stand stocked before sunrise.
It’s in the market where neighbors gather every Saturday.
It’s in the people choosing to build something meaningful, one loaf, one jar, one pasture, one customer at a time.
The Farm Hop was created to make these businesses easier to find because supporting local shouldn’t be difficult. In fact, with a few simple changes in habit, it can be surprisingly convenient.
Instead of buying bread from a big box store, grab a loaf from a local baker.
Instead of ordering products from a warehouse hundreds of miles away, purchase directly from the people making them.
Instead of spending your entire Saturday indoors, visit a market, a farm stand, or a local farm and meet the people behind your food.
Every dollar spent locally helps keep small farms, family businesses, and rural communities alive.
