Combined with Myofacia Release and Structural release, the effectiveness of this therapy can be quite dramatic. Most riders see and feel an immediate improvement.
All Equine athletes at some point are defensive and braced under saddle . Moving up levels , learning new movements etc can create tension , strain which cause irritable points in the nervous system. This normally shows up as knots due to the muscles shortening and tightening.
The Therapy that I do is used to stimulate the soft tissue to help repair and alleviate nerve entrapment and postural distortion.
If this is left untreated it will result in under development of supporting muscles, thereby creating weakness and overuse of reactive muscles which become even more fatigued.
Releasing Muscle spasms help to stimulate the lymphatic system to support immune function.
The horse below shows the difference, before Therapy and 7 weeks later .
Supple and relaxed muscles allow the horse to lengthen the neck , travel straighter to increase stride length and better balance.
