When a child enters foster care, it’s not only a life-changing day for them—it’s also a big transition for the foster family opening their home.
Many foster parents receive a call with very little notice. They may only have a few hours to prepare for a child they’ve never met.
Isaiah 117 House helps ease that transition.
While children are cared for in a safe, loving environment, foster families have time to prepare their home. Before a child leaves, they can receive clothing, shoes, toiletries, comfort items, and other essentials to help make that first night a little easier.
By caring for children, we’re also supporting the incredible families who say “yes” to welcoming them into their homes.

On September 15–16, Isaiah 117 House Marion County will participate in Give4Marion. Every gift brings us one step closer to opening our doors and supporting children, foster families, and caseworkers throughout Marion County.
