AT&T Fiber Optic Cable Laying Project. Logan Diving was assigned to a three to four week job on Drayton Island in Lake George in 2021. The project's scope included digging a 6-foot deep trench across the river floor to install a fiber optic cable, aiming to provide power to the island. Divers encountered submerged tree limbs and logs in the sediment as they began trenching on the southwest side of the island. The team employed hydraulic-powered underwater chainsaws to cut through the debris, covering a distance of about 300 feet, before transitioning to sand and mud, which was then easily managed with a jet nozzle or high-pressure washer.

The Palatka Plane Recovery operation, which took place in 2022 during my employment with Logan Diving and Salvage, showcased our team's expertise. We skillfully recovered the aircraft from shallow water using specialized rigging, line management, and lift bags. Prior to our intervention, the plane had suffered engine failure while en route to the Palatka airport and was forced to make an emergency landing in a retention pond. Fortunately, the pilot survived the incident without sustaining major injuries.
