SUMMER YOUTH WRESTLING AND JIUJITSU

We have been asked several times so we are opening up a morning class for youth grappling/jiujitsu!!

Located at 7175 S Pine Unit J Ocala

If you would like to have your kids ages 5plus please contact us in messenger and let’s get our kids in an activity that will be with them forever and without a tablet.

We are looking at 11AM-NOON, timeframe starting in July!

Apparently there is end of year stuff today, well not be there today.

Also remember Monday will be the first day that your CC on file will be charged and we will have a solid schedule without the ability to change it.

As a reminder there will be no practice today. Memorial Day is a wonderful opportunity to take stock of our wonderful country, those that have gone on before us not knowing if they would succeed or fail but gave their lives with just the hope of our great nation.

I’ve had a couple of schools reach out and ask me about visiting and doing a catch wrestling AJJ fusion. There was a particular interest in how/when/why intentionally adding folkstyle wrestling into our jiujitsu and how takedown transitions help grapplers pass guard while in transition and negate defensive subs like guillotines and front head lock chokes.

I have a pretty specific game plan for this, as it’s how I run my gym.

Please reach out if you or your gym/school would like to have me come in and run a class and/or seminar. Within driving distance of central Florida.

(I am also willing to travel for weekend long seminars etc…)

We will be solidifying our schedule coming up. On the first we will be going 6:30-7:30 wrestling all ages and 7:30-8:30 AJJ/cacc/sub grappling all ages.

We are going to continue our passing/attacking open and knee shield “guards” and next week we will be going over OUR knee shield attack…

If a 42 yo fat dad of four can knee bar pro athletes on the stage you guys can absolutely do much better!!

Coach had to run out of town to the VA and will be gone. Will be back in Monday for practice!!!

Keep in mind we will continue our breakdowns, moving from butcher to short spiral and leg riding all next week!

Leg riding that is overwhelming and absolute! There is no other system for legs like it.

The local high school had their wrestling banquet tonight, so we will be there. No practice tonight but back again tomorrow.
