Man what a weekend!!! We just got home a few hours ago and have time to reflect on this amazing weekend at Jasper for the World 100!

We entered clone pro heavy shootout Friday night and made the main! Out of 67 entries they only take 30. We qualified P27 and finished DNF due to missing the tires buy a little bit.

Saturday we entered Clone Stock heavy and also made our attempt at the World 100 main event.

Clone heavy qualified P6 got taken out about 8 laps in by an overzealous idiot… kart had decent speed but didn’t get to show it in this one

World 100 race we qualified P8!!! I got shuffled back on the start and fought my way back to P11 running all 100 laps! The kart was wicked fast the first 50 laps and very consistent, unfortunately the tires went away with about 25 laps to go and I really had to hang on!!!

I could not be happier with these results from this little team on a chassis that we were told “it will never work in FL” 😜😜😜

Brian Skutt and his Dad Jim gave me one bad fast piece all weekend and it showed! They knew we were there! Hoping to get that huge win soon that Brian and Jim greatly deserve. I’m working on my patience, and getting better each time out. My Raging Bull power plant performed perfect all weekend and gave me plenty of power against the best engines in the country!

Went to OSP yesterday after a long summer break and ran Stock Medium, stock heavy and Pro stock heavy. We decided to run our Vega tires all day to prepare for the Pro heavy race later that night and we rode the struggle bus early on being the only kart in the field on a Vega tire against all Maxxis. Finished P4 and P9 I believe which netted a 10th place starting spot for the Vega pro race. Needless to say my team had the tires ready for that one!

I quickly came through the field and was passing for 2nd place when the 2nd place kart turned down on me sending us both off of turn 2 in the grass with 3 laps to go. My Slack elevate was in kill mode!!! Bad luck just got us again!

Can’t thank my team, Brian Skutt, Jim Skutt and my dad enough for all their hard work and allowing me to ride this awesome kart! On to Jasper next weekend!

Damn what a weekend! We headed up to Jasper for one of the biggest karting events of the year and Brian Skutt had my #26 Slack Elevate on fire all day!! I cannot say enough about all this guy and his dad do for me.

We ran Semi-pro heavy, stock heavy trophy and The Pro Stock heavy 79 lap Kimball memorial. 3 total features and over 120 laps! It was 103 degrees and my team didn’t stop all day!

For the first time ever I qualified for the big race in P11 without have to run a consi or B main and man it was awesome! Brian busted his butt on tires all day chasing a very difficult track and I tried my best to make it shine with 30 of the best drivers in the sport.

Overall results didn’t show our speed but we had a great weekend and learned a ton!

Semi-pro Qualified P5 finished P8
Stock hvy trophy qualified P15 and finished P9
79 lap pro heavy race qualified P11 and finished P19. Made some mistakes and kept diggin! Even won some money and paid dad back for entry fees!

Cannot thank all my friends, family and sponsors enough!!!

Went over to Volusia this past weekend for the FKS Vega state series race #4. We started out with some serious speed setting fast times in practice but really rode the struggle bus in qualifying-

Heavy points Q-P12 finished-20th
SemiPro Q-P15 finished- 14th
Heavy Pro Q-20 finished 12th (Was all the way up to 7th before I was punted on a restart)

We found the speed needed to run same times as the leaders come feature time but just couldn’t get the lucky break we needed to finish strong. Brian Skutt worked his ass off to get the Vega tires hooked up and the Slack Elevate came through a stacked field a few times!

On to the Memorial Day shootout at OSP May 25th!

Edit: completely left out all the important people that make this all possible!

Had a fun night at MCS, started on pole for the heat and checked out on em! Come feature time the track was watered and slick! Made for a very tricky track but I was able to keep this Skutt’s prepared Slack Elevate up front all night and put it in the winners circle!

Went over to Original Speedway Park yesterday with my Skutt prepared Slack Elevate and finally found some speed we had been missing. Had some great runs all day in both Stock Medium and Heavy but unfortunately a bad call sent us to the rear after I got completely ran over on a restart. Almost beat a track record running a string of 10.0’s!
