Hey there, Oakville Little League Families! ⚾️🥎💥
As the dust gets ready to settle on the infield and we empty the last stray sunflower seeds out of our pockets, we want to say a massive, heartfelt **THANK YOU** for making the 2026 season an absolute home run!

A season this epic doesn’t just happen—it’s built by a community that refuses to quit. To all of our wonderfully exhausted parents, guardians, and families: you are the real MVPs. We know the laundry piles up, the schedules are chaotic, and you are running on pure caffeine ☕️, but you *still* packed the coolers, loaded the cars, and showed up every single week. Your dedication turned ordinary ballfields into a magical place where our kids could shine. ✨

☀️🌧️Let’s be honest: being a baseball parent is rough. This season you braved the sweltering heat waves (shoutout to the sweat-induced sunburns) and huddled under umbrellas during sudden downpours or through this heat. But your real superpower was navigating the emotional rollercoaster of the game. Through the tough strikeouts and tears 😢, you were there with a hug and a snack. And during the big hits, epic catches, and beaming smiles 😁, you were leading the celebration. You taught these kids that win or lose, rain or shine, you’ve always got their backs.

Loud and Proud, 📣🙌 the energy from the bleachers this year was unmatched! The endless chorus of cheers, the clapping, and the booming "WAY TO GOS!" didn’t just fill the air—they built confidence. That positive noise is exactly what gives a player the courage to dust themselves off and step back up to the plate. You didn't just cheer for your own kid; you cheered for the whole squad, showing everyone what true sportsmanship looks like.

🌭 Fun Fact: 90% of a coach's energy comes from your sideline cheers. The other 10% is ballpark hotdogs. ;) maybe nachos... 🤔

Thank you for your time, your endless patience, and your incredible support. Your appreciation means the world to every coach and volunteer. We hope you enjoy next week a well-deserved break from packing gear bags! 🎒 We can't wait to see you all back at the ballpark next year! ⚾️🥎🏆

Thank you again for supporting our kids and Oakville Little League. 🎉🎉 With all our funds earned, we have locked in new field clay dirt for both of our fields that will be ready to mix and pour soon!

Scatter Creek Nurseries thank you again so much for supporting our Little League fundraiser this season! 🙌 The flower baskets you grew were absolutely gorgeous and still a huge hit. Selling 35 more baskets made a big difference towards our goal. Thanks to your generosity, we raised enough funds for new infield dirt, that will give our players a safer, better field to play on. Local businesses like yours are the heartbeat of our community, and we’re incredibly grateful for your partnership.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Ryder Miles.

Ryder had just begun his first season of tee ball and was so excited to be part of the team. Sadly, he was only able to participate for a short time before undergoing scheduled heart surgery. Tragically, the outcome was not what we had hoped for, and we have lost a bright, young life far too soon.

We take comfort in knowing that Ryder is now watching over his team from above.

We ask that you please keep Ryder’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. If you are able, any form of support—whether through love, prayers, or a monetary contribution—would mean so much and be deeply appreciated.
