Shout out to David Borton and Marty Clark for getting Office Bridge DGC groomed for play. We moved the old 17's box forward and left, as well as the basket closer in, to greatly reduce the chances of throwing into the rocky, poison oak filled hillside on the right. Come check it out next time you're up.

Here's an update on Office Bridge DGC.

After some discussion our board decided it would be in the best interest of our visitors and our club to downsize from 18 holes to a 9 hole course. As a small club it was getting extremely difficult to manage the property and we felt that the playability of the course was becoming a concern. ODGC has a great group of volunteers who put many hours into providing a well manicured, playable experience, at both of our courses, but the sheer size of Office Bridge was becoming impossible for us to keep up with.

The new layout has not changed any tee boxes or locations of baskets, it has just redirected play to previous holes and has eliminated holes 6 through 14

1 through 5 is the same as before. 15 is now 6, 16 is 7 and so on. You will now walk out from 5, 90°, over to 6, which was previously 15, the one with the giant boulder.

We hope you enjoy the new layout and apologize for the shagginess, is that a word?, of the course. Old Mill is in great shape and playing well.

OLD MILL REVITALIZATION UPDATE
Still working 💪
We installed six more metal tee post sculptures at the Old Mill (only five more to go). This project is truly taking on a life of its own. Never before have I seen such artistic tee creativity. We’re taking pride in this project and it shows.

Oakridge Disc Golf Club, the club that works 💪
We are starting to install our newly fabricated So Metal tee posts (compliments of Matt Burney). And, um, how can I state this properly? They are magnificent monuments that need to be witnessed in order to comprehend their grandeur. Yes! Something that gives a full sensory experience that screams art installation while also functioning as a mill based time capsule while also functioning as a tee sign holder. So far, seven out of eighteen are in; take a walk and lose yourself in their presence.

The historic Osprey DGC got a facelift of sorts today. Out with the old, in with the new.
I say historic just because Osprey was the first disc golf course in the Oakridge/Westfir area (way back in the summer of 2019 🤣). It’s a special place that deserves rightful tee signs, so Ed and I made it happen. Long live Osprey DGC!

Just so everyone’s up to speed on what’s been happening at the Old Mill and Office Bridge lately, we’ve been doing a lot of spring cleaning and sprucing up the courses for all to enjoy. Aaannnd, we’re not done yet. There’s some new developments just around the corner that will really put Oakridge disc golf on the next level. Stay tuned for further updates.
