🐎🤠 Happy Trails Riding Academy: More Than Riding Lessons! ❤️

Our first Ride-Thru the Drive-Thru was a huge success, and we can’t wait to do it again! What a fun way to get out in the community, enjoy time with our horses, and make memories together. 🌅🐴

At Happy Trails Riding Academy, we’re not just about learning to ride—we’re about building confidence, creating friendships, strengthening our horsemanship, and being part of an amazing horse-loving community.

To all our students and families: we would LOVE to have you join us on our next adventure! Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a family member cheering us on, these outings are a great opportunity to connect, have fun, and experience the joy of riding together.

Keep an eye out for announcements about our next group ride. We’d love to see more of our Happy Trails family saddle up and join the fun! 🤠🐎

Happy Trails, everyone! Let’s make some memories together! ❤️🐴

Tari enjoyed some grooming from our students from VistAbility Concord the other day 🤍 VistAbility is a nonprofit that works to enrich the lives of those with developmental disabilities and support independence and inspire personal choice. We love being able to share the many benefits of horses with our students from VistAbility from connection and confidence to relaxation and regulation.

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Mabel, our special unicorn! 33 years young she taught kiddos of all ages and special needs. Mabel would turn into a magical unicorn to help kids get over the fear of riding a large animal. She helps kids who were non ambulatory get their hips to move and strengthen. The last 6mo-1 year her heart started to fail, and her Cushings progressed. She enjoyed her retirement with brushing, love, and painting her magical coat.

Mabel thank you for all your years of service, thank you for being so magical. We will love you forever. Fly high, and meet Soldier in the sky. See the beautiful picture drawn by her favorite kiddo, he knew she was going to the rainbow bridge. Big thank you to the Rocky Memorial foundation for all your love for Ms Mabel. ♥️♥️

We would like to thank everyone for all the prayers!

Here is Ms Lita today. We have some drainage which is normal for the amount of trauma, but she is doing well. The first few days she was on IV pain meds, but has since graduated to oral anti inflammatory. We have had many ask on how to help her… Vet bills are part of operation costs of running a program. If you have a program and cannot take care of them, stop running a lesson barn. Yes, vet bills are no fun, but they work for their healthcare. ♥️

Here is what Carlita would love:

Pamper time…. Thank you Isabella for her cute pony hairdo!

Cookies, carrots, and sliced apples. Feel free to bring her some at your lesson. She’s up front in the white barn. “A apple a day keeps the Dr away” lol we love our vet team.

If you really want or feel the need to donate, here is her list of supplies.

Vet wrap
Beta-dine solution or scrub
Vaseline
Fly Spray/ Swat
Equine Senior Active grain
Liquid bandage

Thank you all again for the prayers! They are working!
