Your revenue might get the bank’s attention…

But risk determines the decision.

When you ask for $50K, $100K, or more, the lender is analyzing the entire picture—credit, cash flow, debt, banking activity, industry, time in business, and repayment capacity.

That’s why two businesses making the same revenue can walk into the same bank and get completely different decisions.

One profile may look like an opportunity.

The other may look like a risk.

Want to understand business funding?

Learn to see your profile the way the underwriter sees it.

Save this. 🔖 I’m breaking down how banks actually evaluate borrowers.

🚨 YOU DON’T HAVE A FUNDING PROBLEM… YOU HAVE A STRATEGY PROBLEM.

Before we build a funding strategy, a business owner’s profile can look like this:

❌ Random applications
❌ High credit utilization
❌ Too many unnecessary inquiries
❌ No clue which lenders actually fit
❌ Business banking that isn’t optimized
❌ Denial after denial

Then we analyze the FULL picture.

Now we know what needs to be improved, what type of capital actually makes sense, which lenders may fit the profile, and what order to approach them in.

That’s the difference between applying for money and building a strategy for capital. 🎯

Your next approval shouldn’t be based on luck.

Getting approved is NOT the only goal. 💰

The real goal is getting the RIGHT capital, in the RIGHT order, without hurting your next opportunity.

Before I build a funding strategy, I’m thinking beyond the first approval:

❌ Will this application create an unnecessary inquiry?
❌ Could this approval affect the next lender we want to approach?
❌ Does this amount actually solve the business’s cash-flow problem?
❌ Can the business comfortably handle the debt?
❌ Are we using the capital in a way that can actually produce a return?

Because getting approved for money without a plan for what comes next isn’t a funding strategy.

Anybody can tell you where to apply.

The real value is knowing WHEN to apply, WHERE to apply, HOW MUCH to pursue, and what move should come NEXT.

That’s the difference between chasing approvals and building a capital strategy. 🎯

🚨 A $100K funding request doesn’t mean you’re ready for a $100K application.

Sometimes the BEST move I can make for a client is telling them:

“Don’t apply yet.”

Why? Because applying before your profile is positioned correctly can turn a fixable problem into a stack of denials and unnecessary inquiries.

Before we approach lenders, I’m looking at the full picture:

💳 Is your utilization too high?
🏦 What do your business bank statements look like?
📈 Is your revenue consistent?
💰 How are you managing existing debt?
🎯 Are you targeting lenders that actually fit your profile?

Funding isn’t about applying to MORE banks. It’s about becoming the type of borrower the RIGHT bank wants to approve.

I’d rather find the weakness before the underwriter does.

Follow me if you want funding strategy—not random applications. 💰🏦

🚨 STOP CHASING BANKS. START BUILDING A FUNDING STRATEGY.

One of the first questions business owners ask me is:

“What bank should I apply to?”

But that’s not the first question we should be asking.

Before I recommend a lender, I need to know:

💳 What does your credit profile look like?
💰 How much revenue is the business generating?
🏦 What do your banking activity and cash flow look like?
📆 How long have you been in business?
📊 What existing debt are you carrying?
🏢 What industry are you in?
🎯 How much capital are you actually trying to access?

Because the bank that approves one business owner for $100K could deny another business owner with a similar credit score.

Funding isn’t one-size-fits-all.

The goal isn’t to apply to MORE banks.

The goal is to match your profile with the right lender, product, and strategy.

That’s the difference between random applications and strategic funding. 💰
