5 years ago, the Warriors drafted Draymond #35 overall. He was the Warriors third pick in that year's draft (shoutout Harrison Barnes / Festus Ezeli), and he's turned out to be the best draft bargain in years. 2 time NBA champ, 2 time all-star, 2 time all NBA player, 3 time all NBA defensive 1st team, Olympic gold medalist, and now defensive player of the year.

All NBA Defensive 1st team - 3 years in a row! Now to win that Defensive Player of the Year trophy tonight during the NBA awards ceremony!

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been named to the 2016-17 NBA All-Defensive First Team, the league announced today. Green has been named to the All-Defensive First Team in each of the last three seasons, becoming the first player in Warriors history to earn three such honors.
