We didn’t ❤️We made the best choice which was to stick to the plan, foster a puppy and help with animal rescue. Puppies are so so so stinking cute, and so much work. Whose heart wouldn’t be tugged by this little girl’s face? And yes, we thought about it, but more importantly we listened to the experts. With guidance and advice from and we knew that even though right now it was cute and manageable, what matters most is Athena’s well being and Athena’s peace of mind. A female pittie and a female puppy are not going to demonstrate the same behaviors once they start maturing and becoming adolescent. The “what’s ifs” were louder than the “right nows.” There are so many good dogs out there, waiting to be rescued. Please adopt, don’t shop. Save a life, grow your heart. ❤️❤️❤️ This past month was hard, yet so fulfilling. Wes having to unexpectedly live at the refinery for weeks was not in the cards. I couldn’t have done this without my sweet sweet son Talan, who helped out just as much as me. He took Aspen out, he played with her, he is why I was able to do this. We also are so thankful for and for stepping in and giving us a break when we needed it!
