Dear Mighty Mites Families & supporters,

What a year it has been. With an overall record of 15 wins, 1 loss, and 3 ties, this season has been nothing short of incredible. We finished on a 9 game win streak. Last night on Mites Night, we beat Park Ridge 27-6. And in our final game today, we faced a very talented Totowa team and came out victorious with a 7-6 win. Down 6-0 with just 15 minutes left, our boys showed the heart and determination that defined this season. We marched down the field, scored with 5 minutes left, and then played lights-out defense shown below to secure the win.

Today was emotional. Players were in tears that the season was over, there were hugs, goodbyes, and even I couldn’t hold back during our final talk.

This season is one I’ll never forget. The 2024 Mighty Mites will forever hold a special place in my heart. The way these boys came together, the way they pushed each other and supported one another, is something truly unforgettable. They’ve not only grown as football players but as young men. This team became a family, and that bond will last forever.

I couldn’t be more proud of them or more grateful to have been a part of their journey. To the parents and coaches—thank you for everything. We built something special this year, and it’s a season I will carry with me always.

As we approach Mites Night this week, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey these boys have been on. It’s more than just football—it’s about the dedication, teamwork, and heart they’ve shown all season. This night is a chance to honor all their hard work and growth. Ceremonies begin at 6:10pm, with game time kicking off at 6:30pm.

I encourage our flag parents to come out and witness what Mighty Mites football truly represents—our commitment to developing young athletes and celebrating their accomplishments. This team has raised the bar, and I couldn’t be prouder of how far they’ve come. Though it’s bittersweet to see the season come to an end, I know these memories will last a lifetime.

Let’s finish strong. Go Braves!

In May, we set out on a mission—to raise the bar and redefine what it means to be part of Oakland Braves Football. This weekend, our Mighty Mites Blue and Gold teams delivered performances that reflect the heart and dedication of this group. The Blue team fought hard and won 27-6, and the Gold team followed with a 21-0 shutout. Our overall record of 13-1-3 is something to be proud of, but more importantly, it represents the journey we’ve taken together.

This team has shown resilience, growth, and a commitment to excellence that will leave a lasting mark on Braves Football. They’ve set a new standard not just for this season, but for the future. I couldn’t be more proud of their efforts and how far they’ve come.

As we enter our final week, I plan to savor every minute with these incredible kids. This has been a season I will never forget, and I’m honored to have shared it with them.

What a weekend for the Oakland Braves Mighty Mites. We started with a commanding win against Wayne 27-0, but it was the second game against Ramsey—a tough, grind-it-out battle— that tested our Gold team which we came out victorious 7-0. Our overall record this year is 11–1-3.
Now with two weeks left, the real challenge begins: maintaining this momentum and finishing what we started. It’s been a long 6 months. We’re ready for whatever comes next.

Our Oakland Brave Mighty Mites rolled into Fair Lawn today & won 21-0. Our overall record is 9-1-3.

After a tough 4-game stretch against 3 very talented football teams, today showed just how much these boys have grown. Adversity teaches you a lot about yourself, and we learned how to rise when our backs were against the wall. The hard work, heart, and resilience they’ve shown week in and week out paid off in a big way today.

Proud doesn’t even begin to describe it. This is what it means to be a team—overcoming challenges together and coming out stronger. On to the next one with even more fire. Let’s keep it rolling 🏆
