We are a specialty bike shop offering hands-on workshops for the not-so-average rider. Inspired by Kittie Knox, who in 1895 challenged both gender and race roles in the cycling world, our services support people of color, women and trans and gender nonconfomring communities and families of Oakland and the East Bay. We strive to offer a welcoming space for the diverse community of folx who cycle. O

ur goal is to inspire and empower our communities to lead healthy, active, confident lives through cycling. Hard Knox Bikes also offers resources to other bike programs, workspaces, rides and more. Live freewheeling and inspired.
