Ginga Mundo Capoeira Oakland Adult Class: Monday 6:15pm-7:15pm Beginners. Tue and Thur 7:15-8:45pm all level, at AXÈ OAKLAND. Sa His class is open to all levels of athleticism and experience!

Classes are taught by Professor Chipa from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Chipa has been teaching capoeira to both adults and children for 10 years. For those who are not familiar with capoeira, it involves, combat, dance, rhythm, and music. First class is FREE! Come one, come all!! Let's play!

Hello Bay Area Capoeiristas - save the date and join us for our 9th Festa da Capoeira! March 9-12, 2023

About the event:

Festa da Capoeira is Ginga Mundo Oakland's annual batizado event. Hosted by Formado Chipa and his students, our Festa da Capoeira will feature capoeira workshops and rodas led by Mestre Sabiá. We are excited to announce that we will have Mestre Amen as our special guest. We will have our batizado event to initiate new students and promote continuing students. And this year, we will also be hosting our Capoeira Music Festival!
