ANNOUNCEMENT
So 3 years ago I opened this place completely on a whim. Mike and I were training all the time but wanted something better for us and our community. I wanted to build a place where people felt like they belonged, they mattered, but that the energy from the space, people and everything in it was something you couldn’t get anywhere else, and we’ve done that. God put me on this earth to be a caregiver, a do-er and most of all a dreamer and believer. With the support system I have I genuienly believe anything we dream is possible and this dream was proven successful because of them, because of you. My mom, sisters and close friends saw the idea I had and didn’t hesitate to make the dream a reality (even if it was in a 3 month span) and for them I will be forever grateful, through that support I gained an amazing coaching staff and an awesome community that made CrossFit Decal come alive. Yes, this was my dream, but I had a dream before this and it required a lot of dreams with gymnastics and a school that my sister and I wanted to grow and take over the world (starting with central Maine). Even with me not being there full time, they’ve done that, but when I started CrossFit Decal my intention was to be able to be in two places and play a big role in two businesses and at this time I’m not giving either of them the time and love they deserve and it’s taking an emotional and physical toll on me. My sister is my biggest role model, she tells me things I need to hear even when I don’t know I need to hear them or don’t neccessilary want to, she’s my person. We had a talk and I haven’t been happy and it’s because Ive always been the person to pour everything into what I love and at this point I’ve run out. Gymnastics has always been my first love and being with my family as we take on a bigger location to be able to make a bigger impact in our community is my first priority right now, that is why I’m choosing to close CrossFit Decal. I would like to thank all of you for supporting and building everything we have, most of all id like to thank the coaches because without them none of this would be possible. But the same time this chapter might be closing for me and this name, we have a new dream, amazing space and even better leader willing to provide to all of you. Scott has always played a key role in making CrossFit Decal what it is and when I approached the staff with what was going on with me, he didn’t miss a beat to step up and want to provide the best for all of you. CrossFit will be opening as of May 1, and this is the perfect opportunity for all of us to stay together and most of all support Scott in this new endeavor just as much as all of you have supported me. We will keep everyone posted with changes as they happen, if you have paid ahead for a membership you will be refunded for the remaining months you have left as of May on. Tumbling will continue until the week of April vacation. Thank you all for supporting us in this change of hands.
