That’s a wrap on Kids Camp 2026! ⛳️

Yesterday’s rain changed our plans a bit, but the kids still had a great time enjoying a movie and taking advantage of a break in the weather for a game of tag outside.

We want to extend a sincere thank you to all of our volunteers who gave their time throughout the week. Your dedication, patience, and enthusiasm helped make this camp a success and created lasting memories for our young golfers.

🚨 Parents: We are trying to locate the owner of a red Precision golf bag that appears to have been switched with another bag. There were also Under Armour hoodies inside. Please check your clubs and bags, and contact us if you believe this may be yours so we can get everything returned to the correct owner.

Day 3 of Kids Camp was a huge success! ⛳️☀️

A big thank you to The Greene Turtlefor sponsoring lunch today—the kids absolutely loved the chicken tenders! 🍗😋

With perfect weather for golfing, our campers spent the day learning, improving their skills, and having a blast on the course. We love seeing so many smiles and enthusiasm each day.

OGC Kids Camp – Day 2! ☀️🍕

What a perfect day at camp! We were blessed with beautiful weather and ideal temperatures as the kids enjoyed a day full of fun, games, learning, laughter, and plenty of smiles.

A big thank you to Uno's Pizzeriafor generously donating lunch and helping make the day even more special for our campers!

⛳️ Oakland Golf Club Kids Camp – Day 1 Success! ⛳️

What an amazing start to our Annual Kids Golf Camp! We had a fantastic turnout on Day 1 and couldn’t be more excited for the week ahead.

The day kicked off with a special demonstration from our Superintendent, Harold Harsh, who showed the campers how the practice green is mowed and explained the clippings that are collected during the process. It was a great behind-the-scenes look at what goes into maintaining our golf course.

Our young golfers then spent time learning and practicing all aspects of the game, including driving, chipping, and putting. It was great to see so much enthusiasm, focus, and improvement throughout the day.

We wrapped things up with a delicious lunch generously donated by Caddyshack Bar & Grill. The campers enjoyed wings, hot dogs, and of course, plenty of French fries!

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers, staff, instructors, parents, and everyone involved in making Day 1 such a success. Your support and dedication help create an unforgettable experience for these young golfers.
