Please 🔊 turn the volume up. I want you to hear one of the things I love the most about the climbing community: the support and encouragement from total strangers. I was failing this V3-4 over and over and over. Next to me there were 3 people watching me fail, and they are all far more experienced than I am. First guy noticed how I'm not using my feet so he gave me tips to improve it. I tried it again and boom 💥 first obstacle done. Then the other two people starting giving me the encouragement I needed to complete the course. Full send at the end 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 I couldn't believe it, my first v3-4 and all thanks to the support and encouragement from strangers who decided to help me succeed. I love that. Thank you Taylor, John, and Gabe 🙏🏽 I hope we can all be like that and uplift each other more. Happy

🔊 Sube el volumen porfa. Quiero que escuches una de las cosas que más me encantan de la comunidad escaladora: el apoyo y ánimo que te dan completos extraños. Estaba fallando este v3-4 una y otra y otra vez. Al lado mio habían 3 personas, con mucha más experiencia que yo, viéndome fallar. El primero vió como no estaba usando mis pies y me dió consejo para mejorar. Lo traté de nuevo y tenga! Primer obstáculo superado! Luego los otros dos me empezaron a dar el ánimo que necesitaba para completar el curso. Al final lo completé 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 no lo podía creer, mi primer v3-4 y todo gracias al ánimo y apoyo de completos extraños que decidieron ayudarme a tener éxito. Me encanta eso. Gracias Taylor, John, y Gabe 🙏🏽 Ojalá podamos todos ser así, y ayudarnos y elevarnos los unos a los otros más. Feliz Sábado 😊

- I lied - i did do a few workouts in the little weight area inside the first rock climbing gym I got a membership at in January. However, I didn't like that gym so beginning of February I changed to a bigger and better facility which does not have weights available -End of correction- the rest of the message is accurate :) Stay active and well rounded my friends 💪🏽
-mentí- si hice algunos ejercicios en la pequeña área de pesas del primer gimnasio de escalada en el que me hice miembro en Enero. Sin embargo, ese gimnasio no me gustó y a principios de Febrero me cambié a uno más grande y mejor pero sin area de pesas -fin de la corrección- el resto del mensaje es acertado :) manténganse activos y bien completos mis amigos 💪🏽

We will be discussing the relationship between exercise and cancer. Does exercise help reduce the risk of getting cancer? How can exercise help someone receiving cancer treatment? The mighty lunge! Loved my many, dreaded by more. It is an amazing closed-chain compound movement that works so many muscles I would need two posts to name them all 😯 (slight exaggeration but you get the point 😀) Check out these tips and start improving your lunge and/or split squat. Las fantasticas tijeras (o zancadas dependiendo a cuál resultado de Google le creas) Amadas por muchos, detestadas por más. Son un ejercicio compuesto de cadena cerrada que trabaja tanto músculo que necesitaría dos publicaciones para nombrarlos todos (una pequeña exageración pero entiendes el punto 😀) Mira estos consejos y empieza a mejorar la tijeras. I started working out at the gym again a few weeks ago. I have been pushing it a little bit and my L shoulder started bothering me a couple of days ago. It reminded me of that time in 2019 when I injured my shoulder so I decided to share this story with you all. The recovery process sucked, but at the same time I learned a lot form it and hopefully this can help you too. Check it out and let me know what you think in the comments section. Empecé a hacer ejercicio de nuevo en el gimnasio hace unas cuantas semanas, y he estado metiendole duro. Un par de días atrás me empezó a molestar mi hombro izquierdo y recordé aquella vez en el 2019 cuando me lesione el hombro. Esa recuperación fue bastante frustrante, pero al mismo tiempo aprendí mucho y quise compartir esta historia. Míralo y me dejas saber que piensas en los comentarios. Alguna vez has tenido que pasar por algo similar?

We continue looking for a new activity/sport/hobby/way to move our body in FL. This time: 🌴Beach volleyball🏐 Pros: - short intense movements - full body exercise - get an awesome tan Cons: - Can't play if it gets too hot - Get sand in parts you don't even know exist - Need to practice a lot to get better at it. 🤔 ... in any case, awesome way to stay active! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Seguimos en la búsqueda de un nuevo deporte/actividad/forma de mover el esqueleto en Florida. Esta vez: 🏐Voleibol de playa🌴. Ventajas: movimientos intensos a corto plazo - Ejercitas todo el cuerpo - saca un bronceado bello Desventajas: No se puede jugar si esta muy caliente - entra Arena hasta en partes que no sabes que existen - necesita bastante práctica para mejorar la técnica 🤔 de cualquier forma, una forma excelente de mantenerse activo 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

2020: The weirdest year of my life so far, and yet, in terms of exercise, one of the most consistent ever! Out of necessity, I had the opportunity to get more creative than ever in my exercise program and found ways to stay active 52/52 weeks. I'm grateful for it. I'm happy about it. See, consistency is not perfection. Not all of my workouts were great. In fact, I'd say the majority were okay at best, but I got to do them week, after week, after week and I feel awesome about it. I hope in 2021 I can stay consistent and continue improving. I'll also try to be more active on social media so you all can see what the process looks like. Happy new year mi gente ♥️ mucho amor. 2020: el año más raro de mi vida hasta ahora, pero al mismo tiempo uno de los más consistentes en términos de ejercicio. Por necesidad, tuve que ponerme muy creativo para encontrar la forma de mantenerme activo 52/52 semanas del año. Estoy muy agradecido y feliz por ello. Y la realidad es que no todad las sesiones de ejercicio fueron buenas. De hecho, la gran mayoría fueron menos que óptimas, pero la consistencia no es perfección. La consistencia es darle, semana tras semana tras semana, con o sin ganas, con o sin motivación. Espero esté 2021 mantenerme tan consistente y continuar mejorando día a día. Trataré también de estar un poco más conectado en las redes para mostrarles como se ve el proceso. Feliz año nuevo mi people. ♥️ Mucho love. Dr. Jorge
