It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that Magda Auñon passed away at the age of 91. She lived a remarkable life and influenced a generation of ballet dancers who carry on her tradition of quality and excellence. We are not planning a service at this time due to Covid. Instead we would like to honor her by having a Celebration of Life performance to be held at a future date. Details about the performance will be shared on this page. Stay well, be happy, and give everyone you love an extra hug.

Teachers offer corrections in many ways. Some explain how things work and why it must be done a certain way, some demonstrate, some use a student example, some walk around and correct, some notice a flaw and form the next combination to correct that movement more specifically. Throughout class your teachers are looking, planning, and attentively adjusting their lessons to fit the application they see in the exercises. This is one reason you should always be working to your fullest potential- so we don't waste time fixing things you already really know- just were not applying. Keep improving by looking for what the teacher is working on and aligning your focus with theirs!
