Hello paddle tribe! After more than a decade of shared adventures, Moku Loa Paddle Tribe is embracing a new chapter. Mary will be stepping away from the business to focus on her family, but plans to continue to enjoy paddle time with the tribe. We will also be saying goodbye to our permanent homebase at the Oakdale Yacht Club.

We’re deeply grateful for the incredible community of paddlers we’ve built and the unforgettable memories we’ve made together. Getting to share so many breathtaking sunsets, teach so many 1st time paddlers, and meet tons of awesome people has been so undeniably rewarding. Our tribe has shown up for us every week since the beginning & we’ve been so lucky to create some authentic and lifelong friendships. If we passed along our love of paddling to even just a few of you - we did what we aimed to do!

As we navigate these changes, I (Sheila) will continue to honor the legacy of the Paddle Tribe by offering private & small group lessons and organizing group paddles in multiple locations across the island this summer.

We invite you to join us on this evolving journey and look forward to hitting the water with you again soon.

We love & appreciation everyone that has paddled with us along the way! Stay tuned for more updates!

We could not have asked for a more magical day on the water as we wrapped up our 2024 season with the annual Halloween Costume Paddle ✨

Thanks to everyone that joined us in costume! We had fun saying hello to everyone that came out of their homes to watch us pass and everyone that waved & said hello.

The weather tomorrow for our Moku Loa Halloween Costume Paddle is going to be so good it’s scary!!!

Join us at 10am as we set off on our annual costume paddle to end the 2024 season. Rentals are available by reserving in advance.
