Some of the highlights from the SMART START CLINIC presented by Esteem Equine by Bar ALE.

Cody started a 2-year-old during a live demonstration giving the crowd a look at the process from the very beginning. Plenty of good questions, some laughs, and a really engaged group which is exactly what these clinics are about.

This past week didn’t come with any checks or placings, but it came with progress.

In our industry, it’s easy to measure success by wins and earnings. But real progress happens in the moments you don’t see on the results sheet. It shows up in a horse that stays softer through the run. A horse that tries when the pressure gets heavy instead of shutting down. Or simply gaining more confidence.

We didn’t win anything at this show, and we didn’t earn anything on paper. But, both horses gained something far more valuable: experience, confidence, and time in the atmosphere that forges finished horses. They were tested, they learned, and they handled challenges that will make them better down the road.

We are grateful for the opportunity to compete, and for those on the journey with us.
