This Saturday we celebrate the life of our friend and Professor Dan at the academy.

We will meet at 11 am at the academy upstairs.

Please arrive in your Gi. After a short service weโ€™ll be having an Open Mat.

We will not be having Adult classes this Saturday.

We hope to see our Kioto family united on behalf of our dear friend.

Sometimes he was the only student in class and to end what was an almost private class, he seemed to try to kill me.
It took him a while to understand that the neck cranks he learned somewhere were not the essence of Gentle Art.
But he was always noble, kind and possessing rare principles that are priceless, such as loyalty, respect and gratitude. And he was an incredible warrior until it was time to leave. With Godโ€™s blessing, he waited for the arrival of his children to say goodbye and with pure and precise words, guide them once again.
