Pizza, cupcakes, chips, a lot of Gatorade, an awesome new WA 🏀 shirt, and a gym full of (loud & energetic!) boys playing basketball, football and all kinds of sports….what more can you ask for to celebrate our season with our Youth Teams last night! Thank you to all of the coaches and parents for a great season & way to work boys! We are so proud of you — best of luck to our 6th graders as they “graduate” from our youth program and head to the Middle School team next year!

🎱🏀March Madness has arrived!! 🏀🎱

HOW TO PLAY
● Pick 8 teams in the tournament
● For every win, you get points based on that team’s Seed #.
o Ex : You would get 1 point for a 1 seed, 16 points for a 16 seed, etc.
● Once a team gets past the 2 nd Round, there are multipliers.
o Ex : 1.5 x points for Round 3 win. 2x points for Round 4, 2.5x points for a
Round 5 win, and 3x points for a Round 6 win.
o Ex : #1 seed that wins the championship get these points per Round
1+1+1.5+2+2.5+3 = 11

● Play-In games do NOT count. If you want to take one of the Play-In teams, just put
“winner of Play-In Team 1 / Team 2”

Each Entry is $20. Enter as many times as you wish.

PAYOUTS:
● 50% of Entry fee money will go directly to the West Allegheny Boys Youth Basketball
Boosters.
● The other 50% will be paid out to the top 3 point earners
o 1 st Place : 60%
o 2 nd Place : 30%
o 3 rd Place : 10%

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES AND PAYMENT IS THURSDAY, MARCH 19TH , 11AM….NO EXCEPTIONS

A fantastic season for our 6th Grade squad, finishing the year with an impressive 17–5 record and wrapping up their WA Youth Basketball careers with a trip to the League Championship!

A special shoutout to Coach Tim Bonner, who is celebrating an incredible 5️⃣0️⃣ YEARS of coaching! His dedication, leadership, and passion for the game have impacted generations of players, and we’re so grateful for everything he’s done for these boys and our program over the years.

Thank you Coach Tim, Coach Jeff & Coach Kristen for all your hard work throughout the years with this team and to an amazing group of players; we look forward to seeing how you keep things moving into your Middle School careers! 🏀 💥

Our 4th Grade Red Squad wrapped up their season with a strong showing at the Burgettstown tournament last weekend! Great work boys and way to play hard!

Our 4th Grade White squad finished the '25-'26 season strong at the USC Tourney this past weekend. It has been such a joy watching this crew grow as athletes and teammates over the last few months. The future is looking bright for these kids! We can’t wait to see what’s next for them with WABB! 🏀 *Special Shoutout to Coach Pete for his tireless dedication to this team over the last two seasons - we could not do it without you and your assistants! Our youth coaches are what make our program run!

So much fun this afternoon celebrating an incredible season with our Middle School crew! 🏀🎉

For the first time ever, WA Boys Basketball was able to form three MS squads thanks to the amazing turnout at tryouts; creating more opportunities for kids to play the game they love, compete, and grow.

The combined success of our 30+ 7th & 8th grade athletes is a true testament to our coaching staff and the commitment these players show every single day. We are beyond proud of their success this season and can’t wait to see what the future holds for these boys.

Our 3rd Grade White team competed in the Moon Tournament this weekend, stepping up to challenge some tough 4th grade competition 💪🏻🏀

They battled all weekend long, showed impressive defensive effort, and learned how to handle full-court pressure like champs! Most importantly, they played together and supported one another. So proud of this group and the way they continue to grow!
