Chef Dave here - Good afternoon everyone. First I want to say what an amazing regatta weekend and send a huge thanks you to "The Chicks in Charge" for executing a truly flawless weekend.
I also wanted to make sure everyone knows that we have our next regatta coming up this weekend on saturday. It is our Annual Long Distance Regatta amd shrimp boil. We are also sharing the event with the Hobie fleet. It should be an amazing party after racing. They are also host JJ the DJ for a fun night of dancing and festivities. Last year we had 21 boats compete and 10 of those boats finished with in 1 to 3 minutes apart after an 11 mile course to the pier 121 mark and back. It was quite a race and reguired some serious skill to make the light wind work. Please sign up for the race so that we can get a good trophy count. Right now wind looks like 5 to 10 kts. Some possible rain throughout the day. So get your crew together and lets have some fun on the water. There will be two possible courses. If there is wind it will be the 24 mile marathon course. If its light we will repeat the same course from that year at around 11 miles. Then the pool party begins and the shrimp boil will be around 5pm on Saturday. If you have questions add them to the general channel. Last year line honors went to the trimaran driven by Bill Davenport!
