We are excited to share that we have a new Park District website coming mid-October! 💻

After collecting input through surveys and focus groups, we're building a new site that addresses many of the pain points we've heard and offers a more intuitive experience for everyone, designed to follow the latest digital accessibility standards. And now, it's almost yours!

Leading up to our launch date, we will be sharing tips and tricks for navigating the website, plus giving you a sneak peek of a brand-new browsing feature. Follow us here for weekly updates on what you can expect with this new website.

We're having a special night at the rink just for teens (ages 11-14)! ⛸️ Grab a friend and hit the ice for our glow-in-the-dark theme! There will be pizza, rockin' music, and glow sticks for everyone. Join us on Friday, September 11 from 7:30-9:30P for the coolest night on the ice.

Registration is required. $15 preregistration, $20 at the door, or FREE with Rink Pass.

Free things to do with the Park District of Oak Park this September!

We had an unseasonably rainy start to summer and it derailed a few nights of our concert series. So, we're bringing Concerts in the Park back for one night only!

🎷 Concerts in the Park: Sunday, Sept 13 from 6:00-7:30P, Scoville Park - Warp Wolf

Join us for the last Movie in the Park of the summer! Bring your blankets and snacks and enjoy a cooler night under the stars!

🎤 Movies in the Park: Friday, September 18 at Dusk (approx. 8:00P), Scoville Park- Michael

Usher in the fall season with our family-friendly event, Fall Fest! Enjoy a carnival atmosphere with rides, music, games, and local food vendors. Live bats and skunks will be at the Conservatory along with pumpkin carving demonstrations, activities in the Discovery Garden, and the Fall Mum & Bulb Sale.

Notice: The Maple Park tennis courts are getting resurfaced! You may have seen the fences go up as construction is set to begin. This improvement will repair wear and tear of the courts, create a smoother playing surface, and help extend the life of the courts.

The courts will be CLOSED through early November. Follow us here to stay in the know on project updates.

‼️ LAST CALL for our Early-Bird Registration Special for the Frank Lloyd Wright Races! Save $10 on registration fees for all races through Tuesday, September 8. Prices increase on September 9.

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the races! Everyone who participates will receive a t-shirt to sport during the race and get a medal at the finish line (stay tuned for the design reveal). We are also offering limited edition commemorative merch to celebrate this milestone! Our merch store will be open through mid-September. All proceeds from race registrations and merch go directly toward the Park District financial assistance fund, enabling all Oak Park residents to access recreational opportunities.
