The Oak Park Eagles Men's & Women's golf teams play a competitive schedule and are members of the Coastal Canyon League which is comprised of Oak Park, Moorpark, Camarillo, Royal and Simi Valley. In 2014 we left our long association with the Tri-Valley League where we won multiple titles and had multiple Players of the Year and 1st & 2nd Team All-League performers.

Here are the match players today as we opened the 2026 season against Newbury Park and topped them 226-304 in very hot weather on the Los Robles difficult par 36 back 9. It was great to get the season started, but we were all walking a little slower during the last couple of holes, and we kept our water bottles full. Nina picked up her first medal of the season with a solid +2, 38 and Bianca was close behind with 40. We finished the day with a light dinner at ChicfilA as I watched them dip everything on their plate into that pasty orange dipping sauce. Another non-league match and our first league match next week when we hope it's a little cooler. Go Eagles!

We had the entire roster on the course today for our first qualifier of the year, and it was good to get everyone some course time at the par 3 Westlake. Everyone is working hard and learning daily, and Nina 31 and Bianca 35 led the way on the Par 33 course. We had several in the 30's and lower 40's, so that is what we want from everyone as they improve. It was great to see the new players get a shot at the course today. Welcome to the 2026 season. This group again sits on Winner's Wall at Los Robles as we bested Simi Valley today 194-245 to start the 2nd round of dual league matches. We are 7-2 overall & 5-0 in league. Nina was the medalist again with another -2, 32 today & she was supported by Bianca's 37 & Mylei's 38 & the other 3 played well also. We have a holiday Tuesday and a bye on Thursday next week, so we'll get a lot of practice time. Go Eagles!

This group continued our winning ways by hosting and topping Moorpark 198-238 today at Los Robles. The win puts us at 4-0 after the first half of head-to-head play. Nina was the medalist with a solid -2, 32, followed by Bianca with 38. Congrats to Moorpark's Ashley with a fine -1, 33. We celebrated at OobaTuba with Acai bowls to cool us off after a hot day on the course. We open the second half on Thursday, hosting Simi Valley. Go Eagles!

We traveled to Royal in Simi Valley today and bested the Highlanders 220-255 to move to 3-0 in league. Also had all 3 freshmen in the match for the first time and congrats to freshman Alexandra for her 3rd place finish for the team today. Bianca got her 1st medal of the season by leading both teams with a solid 36, followed by Nina and Alex. Got them back to school tonight after a likely unhealthy meal at Prince St Pizza and Crumbl cookie. 2 more league matches next week as we host Moorpark and Simi Valley on Tuesday and Thursday. In this version of shadows and light, the group hosted and topped Camarillo today 191-232 with Nina getting another medal for a fine 32, followed by Bianca with 37 and Maddie with 39. Our highest counting score was 42 and that's a pretty good spread for women's golf anywhere. We travel to another league match at Royal on Thursday. Picture Day is tomorrow. Go Eagles!

This 6-some played hard but fell to Oaks Christian, the best team around, today 184-204. We did fine with all scores in the 30s & 40s as we prepare in earnest for league matches next week. It was a little cooler in Camarillo, and it was a beautiful day for golf. Stay tuned as we host Camarillo on Tuesday and travel to Royal on Thursday. Go Eagles!

This 6-some experienced some fine dining at OobaTuba Cafe after our non-league loss to Westlake today. Nina was the medalist with Bianca close behind, but the Westlake depth gave them the win. We put Medha & Izzy on the course to begin their high school careers so that was a win, and we had a good time staying hydrated in some oppressive heat. More non-league this week and back into league battles in a week. Go Eagles!

This 6-some began the 2025 league season with another win as we traveled to Simi Valley to top the Pioneers 206-235 at par 35 Simi Hills. Nina began as she usually does with the medal for a solid -1, 34, and the rest of the squad was nicely balanced for the win. The temperature was cooler than the previous days, but we had some kind of Florida humidity moving through so it was a round which sapped your strength, and I'm proud of everyone for staying hydrated and conscious. Couple of non-league matches next week as we have a bye week for league. Wishing everyone a safe holiday weekend. Go Eagles!
