Here is the workout information for Monday, 4/6/26:

Location: OPHS Track
Time: 6:30pm for announcements/race results/lottery photo, drills and workout to follow
Weather: 69° and sunny at 6pm
Workout: 9-12 x 400m with 90 sec rest. Aim to complete all the repeats within a 5 sec window. Example (115-120 sec)

Workout: 3-5 sets: 800 pace, 3 min rest/400 @ mile pace, 90 sec rest/200 HOT. Walk/jog 200 back to the start line.

We are taking it to the big block this Monday! Due to an OPHS boys lacrosse game on the field, we’re moving our session to the Madera Creek paved loop. Get ready for a great workout!

LOCATION: Calle Rio Vista (the cul-de-sac at the bottom of the track driveway).
TIME: 6:30 PM for announcements, race results, and lottery photo. Drills and workout immediately follow.
WEATHER: A perfect 64° and sunny!
THE WORKOUT:
• 6–8 x 1/2 Mile Repeats
• Rest: 3 Minutes between repeats
• Intensity: HARD. The Goal: We want these to be spicy. You should feel like that 3-minute recovery went by way too fast!
NOTE: If you know the paved trail loop, please be a leader and show our newer members the route since we are off the track today.
POST-WORKOUT: Stick around for our (almost) monthly Board Meeting at Adobe Cantina immediately after the sweat session.

All members are welcome and encouraged to join!

Huge shoutout to everyone who came out Monday night! Awesome energy and inspiration from all of the hard work on the track! 800-400-200-200 repeats are tough and y’all killed it!

We know schedules are a puzzle, and shifting to Mondays—then bumping our start time from 6:15 to 6:30—is a lot to ask. But you all handled the changes like pros! As a thank you for “sticking” with us through the changes, we handed out these limited edition “Flat Max” magnets.

Didn’t get yours? We still have a few left! Grab one at next week’s workout before they’re gone.

Reminder that Monday night track time is pushing back to 6:30 pm to support the youth track team. It makes time for a great warmup on the Medea Creek trails before heading to the snack shack for our pre-workout announcements and drills on the track at 6:45.

We will just briefly share track time with the kids, but stay alert as they learn the rules/etiquette of being on and around the track. Random and surprise movement can be expected.

Workout: 3-4 mile continuous run. 150 building up speed focusing on your form, then an easy 50 to recover repeated without stopping.
