Grain foods.
Some points to consider when reading nutrition labels for those trying to limit or decrease sodium intake. It is imperative to make educated food decisions for those with medical conditions or family history such as high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease or liver disease.
These are foods that one would not consider to be “high in sodium” but accumulation of these with other foods (sauces, seasoned meats, & dairy items) can rack up the numbers quickly for our recommended daily intake (RDA).
