Oak Lawn Community High School boys varsity bowling team places tenth in IHSA state finals; Charlie Dell places tenth individually.

What a great trip we had to O’Fallon this weekend. We made the State Finals and then qualified for Day 2 and finished the season 10th place in State! This was our best finish at state since the 2013 team that finished in 5th place.

Senior Charlie Dell was rolling well all weekend (pun intended) and finished tied for 10th place as an individual. This makes Charlie Oak Lawn’s 3rd All-State bowler and our first since 2015. What a great ending for our Seniors and the entire team. This is so much more to say, but let’s celebrate these young men right now.

We are so proud of them all! Great work Spartans. Congratulations!

We are on to Day 2 at the State Finals! We are currently in 8th place. Tomorrow is moving day, we will move up in the standings game by game. Let’s go!

Charlie Dell is also tied for 9th place in the individual standings. Keep it rolling Charlie!

The boys got a nice state send off today at school. We were escorted by the Spartan Drum Line around the 2nd floor. Thanks to the entire school for their support, we truly appreciate it.
We head to O'Fallon, IL Thursday morning for the State Finals.

The Spartans are going to the State Finals! Today at our Sectional we battled back and forth with Morton, Reavis, and Lyons Township and finished in the top 4. We officially advanced to the State tournament in O’Fallon this Friday.

Justin Canvin finished in 6th place and Zach Shane in 9th. Great job boys!

The Spartans are IHSA Regional Champions! Third year in a row, and fourth in the last five years. We bowled a crazy 6653 over 6 games. Charlie Dell finished in 4th, Peter Garcia 5th, Justin Canvin 6th, David Bush 10th, and Zachary Shane 15th. Total team win and we advance to the Fenton Sectional next Saturday.
