Congratulations to Senior Jack Dempsey on his SSC Red Player of the Year award as voted on by the coaches in our conference.

A four year varsity player and three year starter, Jack concludes his four year SSC career with a 44-8 conference record.

Along the way this season, he scored 17.5 PPG in conference play to go along with 3 AST, 2 STL, and 5.5 rebounds per game.

Jack joins recent Oak Lawn Basketball POY’s Sami Osmani (‘20), Davion Lawrence (‘22), and Donté Montgomery (‘25). That’s a special club!

We had a great senior night last week, including John's first (and only) bucket of the season. He's meant so much to our program the last four years, and exemplifies everything you could ask for in a Spartan student-athlete.

John Olejniczak of Oak Lawn and Blake Stefanek of Reavis, both sidelined by season-ending injuries, each had the chance to score one more basket.
