2025 Rumble in the Jungle KMT in the books, this is one of our favorite tournaments of the year and we would like to thank Captain Archie's for putting on a great event every year! Day 1 started off slow for us and it was a tough day for king fishing all around but day 2 was much more eventful. We were in the right spot with multiple 40+ pound fish caught around us. We had a few missed opportunities especially one that smoked our reel down and had us stretched out about 250+yards that pulled the hook but we ended the day with 2 fish that weighed in the upper teens that allowed us to take a trip to the scales. Also always fun this time of the year to catch a few over slot redfish while slow trolling! Looking forward to the US Open and the Fall Brawl in 2 weeks and hoping we can stay on the fish!

We had a blast fishing the East Coast Got Em On King Mackerel Tournament this past weekend. We fished hard it just wasn’t our turn to get that big bite we were needing. We caught 2 fish on Sunday that put us in 69th place out of 200+ boats as well as a very nice cobia to take home for dinner! Like always we’re looking forward to the next one!

Kicked off the tournament season this past weekend by fishing the Ocean Isle Fishing CenterJolly Mon King Classic, we ran all over the ocean Friday looking for a big King Mackeral but were only able to find sharks and a 24lb cobia that landed us 3rd place in the Cobia division. Now time to prep and get ready for the East Coast Got Em On King Mackerel Tournament in just a few short weeks!

Round 2 for the Atlantic Bonito this morning! Found another school of them and kept a few of the larger ones, fresh bonito sushi and poke bowls are on the menu tonight!

We were able to get in on the nearshore action for a few hours this morning and now we’re enjoying some fresh Atlantic Bonito ceviche!

Nothing beats a successful trip to the grocery store! We were able to pick away at some beautiful bottom dwellers and fill the freezer!

Another great time fishing the 2024 Rumble in the Jungle KMT. Weather conditions made it a tough tournament but we were fortunate enought to catch 4 kings and weigh 2 of them on day 2 that put us in 9th place for the small boat division as well as 69th overall out of 200+ of some the best King Mackeral anglers on the east coast. Congratulations to everyone that placed in the tournament, can’t wait for the next one!
