Good afternoon,

Due to expected winter weather, all facilities at Oak Island Golf Club will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Duffer’s Pub & Grille will also be closed on Monday. If conditions allow the Pro Shop to open on Monday, we will send an email update Sunday afternoon to confirm.

We are hopeful that the forecast improves and allows us to return to the course by the middle of next week. As always, the safety of our staff and guests is our top priority.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you back at the course soon.

Good afternoon,

We will be open for golf tomorrow. Please note that tomorrow may be our last day of operation until late next week, as winter weather is expected to move in Saturday afternoon and continue through Sunday.

We will make a final decision Friday afternoon regarding Saturday and Sunday’s operations, which may include closing the golf course, the Pro Shop, and Duffer’s Pub & Grille if necessary. Our priority is ensuring that our staff and guests do not have to travel on unsafe road conditions.

Thank you for your patience over the past week. We know it has been very cold, but spring is only a couple of months away, and we look forward to seeing you back out on the course soon.

Notice to All Golfers and Guests
Regarding Wildlife on the Course

We would like to remind everyone that alligators are native to this region and are a natural part of the environment here at Oak Island Golf Club. While they may seem fascinating to observe from a safe distance, it is strictly prohibited—and a federal offense—to feed alligators under any circumstances.

In addition, we kindly ask that you do not feed any wildlife while on Oak Island Golf Club property. Feeding animals, including turtles, birds, raccoons, or squirrels, can cause them to lose their natural fear of humans. Once wildlife becomes accustomed to human interaction and feeding, they may pose a safety risk and, unfortunately, must then be relocated or removed. That is the last thing we want to do at Oak Island Golf Club, especially with our native alligators.

Please help us protect the wildlife and preserve the unique natural setting of our golf course by respecting this important policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Dear Members & Guests,

Duffer's kitchen will be closed Sunday, July 20th.

The Snack Bar / Bar Area will remain open to serve golfers and guests with a variety of refreshments, including drinks, hot dogs and pre-made sandwiches.

Duffer's will re-open on Tuesday, July 22nd at 11:30 a.m. for Lunch & Dinner Service.
