A Friendly Fourth of July Reminder from Oak Island Golf Club

As we welcome another Independence Day holiday, we'd like to extend a warm welcome to all of our members, golfers, guests, and everyone visiting Oak Island and the Southport area for the festivities.

With the island expected to be extremely busy over the next several days, we'd like to remind everyone that Oak Island Golf Club is private property and is not a public park. We understand that it may not be possible to keep everyone off the golf course during the evenings surrounding the holiday, but we respectfully ask for your help in protecting our beautiful course.

If you visit the property, please be respectful by disposing of all trash properly, avoiding any damage to the course, and driving golf carts responsibly. Our maintenance team works tirelessly every day of the year to keep Oak Island Golf Club in outstanding condition, and we appreciate everyone's cooperation in preserving it.

Most importantly, please celebrate safely, be mindful of others, and help us keep Oak Island Golf Club a place we can all continue to enjoy.
