On Friday, recent Oak Hill grad Zane Wolfe put pen to paper and made things official. The Red Devil alum signed to play baseball at WVU Tech. Wolfe was a Class AAA All-State Honorable Mention in both 2021 and 2022.

The Princeton WhistlePigs have now lost six games in a row. On Friday, they dropped their second straight contest to Kingsport 10-5. The Bluefield Ridge Runners used their momentum from Thursday's 16-8 win over Danville to win 17-12 on Friday. The West Virginia Miners are now on a three-game losing skid after falling to the Normal Cornbelters 6-1.

On Thursday, the Princeton WhistlePigs dropped their fifth straight game. The Bluefield Ridge Runners got back in the win column with a 16-8 victory over Danville. The West Virginia Miners lost a twin bill with the Lafayette Aviators.

The roster is set for Best Virginia ahead of The Basketball Tournament Regionals this Sunday in Charleston. The final addition to the team is Tamon Scruggs, who spent five seasons at WVU Tech. Scruggs was the leading scorer for the Golden Bears the past two years.
