COME SUPPORT OUR SPARK ELITE TEAM DANCERS!
The Spark Movement Academy Booster Club is hosting a Car Wash Fundraiser on Saturday, September 26th from 12:00–3:00 PM at 285 NE Midway Blvd!
Bring your car by, get it cleaned up, and help support our dancers as they head into their 2026/2027 competition season.
Car washes are by donation, with a suggested donation of $10 per vehicle. Every dollar supports our Spark Elite Team dancers, and additional donations are always greatly appreciated! Whether you stop by for a wash, make a donation, or simply share this post, we appreciate the support so much!

✨ Master Class with Mary Lou Sanelli! ✨

This past Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mary Lou Sanelli to Spark Movement Academy for a special master class!

Our dancers had such a great time learning from a new instructor, experiencing a different teaching style, and enjoying the energy and inspiration that comes from working with a guest artist. We loved seeing them step outside their regular classes, try something new, and have so much fun doing it! 💜

Mary Lou is not only a dancer, teacher, and choreographer—she’s also an author! 📚🩰 If your dancer loves to read, you may want to check out two of her dance-related books:

Today, three of our incredible Spark Elite Team dancers, Ariella Miguel, Sienna Rose Wright, and Lillian Griffith, take the stage at the All American Girl National Pageant to compete in the Talent competition!
They've worked so hard for this moment, and we couldn't be more proud of their dedication, perseverance, and passion. Now it's time to step into the spotlight and let all that hard work shine!
Join us in wishing Ariella, Sienna, and Lillian the very best of luck as they represent Spark Elite Team on the national stage. We know they'll make us proud!

❤️🤍💙 What an incredible Fourth of July! 💙🤍❤️
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by the Spark Movement Academy booth, danced with our amazing Spark Elite Team, spun the prize wheel, cheered us on, and celebrated our community with us!
We loved seeing so many smiling faces, meeting new families, and sharing what makes Spark so special. From our littlest dancers to our teen leaders (and even Uncle Sam! 😉), our team represented Spark with enthusiasm, kindness, and pride.
🇺🇸 As America celebrates its 250th birthday, we're especially thankful to be part of a community that believes in investing in its youth.

✨ All eyes on Chicago! ✨
This week, one of our own, Sienna, is representing Spark Elite Team at Dupree Dance Convention & Competition Dance National Finals, and we couldn't be more proud!
Sienna is the kind of dancer who turns heads the moment she steps on stage. She performs with incredible strength, beautiful technique, unwavering dedication, and a passion that can't be taught. But what makes her truly special goes far beyond her talent.
She is humble, hardworking, kind, encouraging, and the type of teammate who celebrates everyone around her. She leads by example, lifts others up, and embodies everything we hope our dancers will become. She is not only an exceptional competitor but an exceptional human being.
Nationals are filled with some of the most talented dancers in the country, and we have no doubt that Sienna belongs right there among them.
Your entire Spark family is cheering you on from home! Dance fearlessly, soak in every moment, and remember just how many people believe in you. We are endlessly proud of everything you've accomplished and can't wait to watch you shine.

Today was pure magic. ✨
Our Sparking Life recital was a beautiful reminder of the people who keep the fire burning at Spark Movement Academy.

To our incredible staff and volunteers — thank you for pouring your time, heart, and energy into our dancers and into this studio. Thank you for believing in the vision of creating a welcoming, nurturing space where students and families feel supported, encouraged, and loved. You help keep the Spark alive in more ways than I can ever fully express.

To our dance families — thank you for every ride to class, every costume, every recital fee, every late night, every sacrifice, and every moment spent cheering your dancer on. Your support goes far beyond the stage, and it plays such a big part in helping your children grow in confidence, strength, and joy.

And to our beautiful dancers — thank you for your hard work, dedication, and heart. Thank you for the hours spent in class, the courage it takes to step on stage, and the passion you bring to every rehearsal and performance. Today you didn’t just dance… you shined, you inspired, and you reminded us all what it means to spark something special.
