Mother Nature got over being so cranky and we were able to finally get our 2025 season underway. It was a perfect evening for paddling. Very little wind and no rain. Cool looking clouds with blue sky’s peeking thru. We saw an eagle, a blue heron, lots of little bird (don’t know their name) and as always our seals. There were just six of us paddling our little hearts out in our boat the “dragonfly.” Great beginning.

Our season will be coming to a close sometime in October. It has been a fabulous year on the water. We raced on Lake Union and on Lake River in Ridgefield Washington. We had two team members that raced in Olympia this year and one of our team members, Becky Rosencrans, raced in Ireland. What a year, what a team.

Whoot-Whoot! Shelly and I (Becky) had a GREAT time paddling with World Beat Dragons last week in Olympia! Next year, Team Stayin’ Alive should paddle at this venue; great fun!
