A few of the plyometric and power-focused exercises our baseball athlete Luke incorporates into his training. ⚾💥
Plyometrics are exercises designed to improve an athlete's ability to produce force quickly. By training explosive movements, athletes can develop power, speed, coordination, and overall athleticism.
While strength is important, athletes also need to be able to use that strength efficiently and explosively. Plyometric training helps bridge the gap between strength and performance by teaching the body to generate force faster.
For athletes, it's not just about how much force you can produce—it's about how fast you can produce it. 💪⚾
