Metro East Soccer Club is looking for some new blood. Most of the existing board members have kids in high school or college and have sort of aged out of the program.

We are looking to turn this program over to a new board of directors. We encourage parents, with a little bit of a passion for soccer and youth activities, to get with us and lets see where YOU can take this.

The club has a place to play, goals, nets, flags, field marking equipment and money for any necessities to get this back up and running again. We will help support if you are willing to take this up.

If you are interested you can leave a message, send us a message, or contact Jeff Jennings or Todd Barnhart. We will provide their cell numbers to anyone interested.

Reminder, tonight is the last game for u5/6 we will start right at 6:30.

Since there are some players who can't make it to the game if we rescheduled for tonight, we wouldn't have enough for full teams in some places, we will reschedule the last game for U5/6 Academy for Tuesday October 16th. Please be ready to start the game at 6:30. Thank you, the weather should be clear and sunny!

If tonight's game for U5/6 is cancelled due to rain, is there any interest in rescheduling for Thursday at 6:30? I'm trying to not extend this last game another week, and it's supposed to be sunny and clear on Thursday.

I've been trying to get an email out but having trouble with my system, I will keep trying to notify via email but for now:
Tomorrow, Tuesday October 2nd, could the parents of the U5/6 players please come at 6:30 instead of 7 so as to beat the sun setting. We will try and start right at 6:30 with their game. thank you

I was wrong on a previous post about the U7/8 schedule. Tonight is a practice but we have one more practice and three games left. For those who didn't get a schedule handed out at practice it goes as follows:
Monday 9/24 Practice
Thursday 9/27 Game
Monday 10/1 Practice
Thursday 10/4 Game
Monday 10/8 Game

I'm here at the field, I've seen a lot of lightning so practices for 3/4 5/6 will be cancelled, sorry for the short notice but I was trying to hold out for better weather
