St. Brigid’s LGFC is saddened to hear of the passing of Patrick Duffy, father of Noeleen and Colleen

Noeleen and Colleen were long-time players and members of St. Brigid’s, and both also served on our Board. The club we have today rests on the work and commitment of people like them.

We send our sincere sympathies to Noeleen, Colleen and the entire Duffy family at this sad time.

May Patrick rest in peace.

On behalf of everyone at St. Brigid’s LGFC, we are heartbroken by the passing of Molly Flynn.

Our hearts are with her husband, Mike; her children, Morgan, Megan, Casey, Michael and Caroline; the Flynn and McAvoy families; and all those mourning the loss of Molly.

St. Brigid’s has been proud to have Morgan, Megan and Casey wear our jersey for many years. In that time, we came to know and love Molly, the entire Flynn family, and the community surrounding them.

Words feel painfully inadequate today.

Even the hardest of years could never take away the woman, wife and mother Molly was. It was truly an honor to know and love her, and we will continue to honor and remember her.

To the Flynn family, thank you for sharing your mom with us. Always know that your St. Brigid’s family stands with you today and will continue to stand beside you in the days, months and years ahead.

We love you.

We’re really looking forward to the Chicago GAA Hall of History - Opening Night this Thursday!

As we write this, the team is hard at work putting finishing touches on the Hall of History. In true Chicago GAA and Chicago Gaelic Park fashion, it’s been a tremendous effort led by volunteers and supporters. It’s always heartening to see these projects come together and impact so many.

Looking forward to Boston Shamrocks 13-a-side! Great to see NYC teams compete alongside.

We couldn’t be more excited to be hosting our second fall tournament here in Boston! This is the first year we have opened it up to other clubs in other divisions.
We hope every year we can build this tournament into a bigger one.
We are thrilled to welcome these clubs to Boston this Saturday! Games kick off at TEN am at the Irish Cultural Centre… we will post the schedule on Friday.
