Due to the amount of requests we have had to submit audition video submissions. We are happy to announce that we will be extending the deadline for Oak Creek Idol video audition submisions to May 8th by 3pm. Semi-finalists will be notified by email on May 10th. Let's hear those beautiful voices.

It's time to warm up your vocal cords and step up to the mic, you could be the next Oak Creek Idol!
Auditions will take place by video submission. Deadline for video & official entry form submissions is 5pm on April 18th. No late submissions will be accepted. Audition videos should not exceed 1 minute in length. Please email video submissions along with official entry form to [email protected].
Space is limited to the first 30 contestants per age group.
Age groups: 4-12 & 13 and up.
One winner per age group.
Contest will be held in 3 rounds:
Video Auditions - January 17th -April 18th
Semi-Finalists will be chosen and notified no later than May 10th.
Semi-Finals - June 15th 3-4:30pm
Finals - July 13th - 3-4:30pm

Our ball fields, sport fields and tennis and pickleball courts are now closed for the season. We hope you enjoyed your summer!
Just a reminder that sport fields,courts and, ball diamonds (except Shepard Hills, Abendschien, and Meadowview) can be rented out 90 days in advance.
Ball diamonds, sports fields, and courts will typically be open for the season by April 1st (weather permitting)
Our indoor pavilions are open year-round and Residents can reserve 1 year in advance, Non-residents can reserve 30 days in advance.

Did you know?
Abendschein Park features a skate park for skaters and scooter enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.
The skate park is open daily from Sunrise to Dusk
The park features a half pipe, quarter pipe, box jump, launch ramp, and rails.

Located at Abendschein Park, 1131 East Drexel Avenue.

Rules & Restrictions
Use at your own risk.
Skateboarding, In-Line skating, and BMX bikes only.
Skateboarding and BMX biking activities are limited to the skate park.
Protective Gear is recommended.
No competitive events without the prior approval of the Leisure Services/Facility Rentals office.

All other city park rules apply.

Fall is the perfect time to take a walk or bike ride on one of our many Recreational Trails.

The walking map offers 10 short and long routes that will meet most people's fitness level. The routes are all on sidewalks or paved paths, some of which take you through our beautiful city parks.

The City of Oak Creek has many options for biking. These include dedicated bikways as well as shared roadways. Some of our trails even connect to Milwaukee County's Oak Leaf Trail. A full map of our existing and proposed trails is below as well as the definitions of the three classes of trails that are in Oak Creek.

Oak Creek is a growing city of safe neighborhoods. The Oak Creek Health Department developed a walking map to identify neighborhood streets, paths, and sidewalks that can be used as free resources to improve fitness.

📢 Important Announcement 📢

Hey foodies and movie lovers - we know you were all as excited as we were for tomorrow’s Food Truck Tour and Outdoor Movie Night! 🍔🎬 Unfortunately, we have some disappointing news to share. Due to the extreme heat forecast for the upcoming days, we've made the tough decision to CANCEL the event to ensure the safety and well-being of all our attendees.

We know how much everyone was looking forward to indulging in delicious treats from the food trucks and enjoying a movie under the stars, and we share your disappointment . . . but your health and safety are always our top priority.

The final Food Truck Tour of the season is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 27, and it’s going to be a good one! In the meantime, stay hydrated, stay cool, and stay connected with us for more exciting updates and events in the future.
