Well it was a great season but I did the pull it off at the end. Bob shot a great game and I wish him luck against the Northern division winner Jeff. Thank you to Steve who runs the league you really have something special here.

Tony Robles has been putting on clinics at different pool halls all over the country. If you have not been to one of these, you are missing out. Tony’s knowledge of pool is greater than any other person I know in the game. In the clinic he put on at our pool hall he started with some basic stuff like stance, bridge hand, stop shots, and basic cue ball control. He then put on a Straight Pool clinic where he set up a break shot and opened the balls, after opening the balls he broke down in detail how he would run out the rack and why. I would say 80 to 90% of the time he was dead accurate and even when he did get out of line then explained how he would correct his pattern. The most impressive part was that he managed to string together four and half racks before missing his first ball. I have known Tony for over 30 years and every time I talk to him, I learn something new about this game. If you are a beginner or an Open Pro player this man has skills to pass on. This is the match that I have been wanting to see for a long time. If you have not seen it you are in for a treat. This has to be in my top 10 favorite matches of all times. Do yourself a favor and dedicate some time to it. You will thank me.
