If you aren’t doing anything on Saturday, February 11, 2023 stop by Musky Expo at the Koontz Gym at 107 Koontz Avenue in Clendenin, WV from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM hosted by the Elk River Muskie Club. Although we are not going to be able to attend this year you may be able to acquire one of these two baits while you are there. One is a wooden body 5 inch glide bait in a bass pattern. The other is a new wooden bait for this year based on the popular megabass 110 jerk bait body lines enlarged to be 6 inches and suspends in the water column helping to entice a strike. This particular bait will be equipped with a square bill in a color shifting white with bone perch stripes and an orange belly. This will be the first available jerk bait from us and has proved to be effective while I was testing them some last year. I will have a few available before long and will post them on the page when they are ready to go.

Have a new product in the testing phase that looks to be a pretty promising bait. Should be a versatile bait for larger bass and musky and is designed to be able to be thrown on lighter than usual musky gear or heavier bass gear. It will be a hardwood bait with three options of diving bill and have the same body lines as the pictured bait. As you can see the first test a couple weeks ago went well.

Come out to the Koontz Gym for the Elk River Musky Expo in Clendenin, WV. The roads to get here from Harrison County today were not terrible actually. Make the drive, the whole room is filled with vendors, but we hope we are lucky enough to do business with you.
Our table is selling baits of a variety of sizes and patterns. We also have a small collection of tumblers with us too. Come check it out. We hope to see you soon!

Found a little open water to test the baits I’ll have at the Expo this Saturday. Here’s the best I could do on getting the action videos by myself. The 6 inch have a different lip than the older 6inch and don’t run as deep as the old ones but still have a lot of great action.
