Happy Labor Day to everyone. It’s been a crazy few days, Turning Stone was a great time meeting loads of new people. All the Facebook auctions went pretty well, The craziness of all the minis. I’m trying to get everything back to normal.
I have some travel time today, I’ll get everyone’s cues packed and shipping for tomorrow. I’ll do mini 4 drawing later today and open mini 5. I’ll do one final push to close out the cue raffle, there’s about 25 entries left. Not sure if I’ll fill it. But it’ll go on either way. Wednesday at 9. Pm.
My inventory is getting super low. I’m not sure if I’ll enough cues for the holiday season. So my auctions will be over for a while. It’s time to get back to building. Unless something changes in the next 48 hours. This raffle cue will be the 100th cue to go out this year. Crazy. Best year to date with a few months left. I appreciate you all. You guys keep it interesting.

I’d like to address a complaint I had tonight about the mini auctions I decided to run today. The person felt that it was unfair because the winner got 5 entries in the main for 10 dollars.

For those that might not understand the system. 1 person does get 5 entries. But 9 people get 0 entries. So the cost per entry is still $20 per entry in the main cue auctions.

It doesn’t dilute any value. In the main raffle. The people that participate through the mini raffles actually assume addition risk.

This was not my original plan unfortunately after I started this raffle I learned the main component for ticket sales at the show was not allowed. I had over 50 tickets left with a few days left and interest had slowed to non existent. I want to give people an opportunity, an experience. But not at the cost of losing $1000 or more.
This practice didn’t dilute the value of those that already purchased entries because the value of each ticket in the cue raffle is still $20 per entry just as it was at the start.

If anyone has issues with what I’ve been doing to breathe life back into this giveaway. I would be happy to refund your money and add your numbers back into the drawing.

Please let me know. I try to be 100 percent fair and transparent. Unfortunately when the things changed I had to adapt. If I was able to sell entries here I would not have done the minis. If I was a few entries off the total I would have ate the difference. But not having an option to sell the tickets as planned forced me to adapt while maintaining the integrity of the event.
