After a Championship battle that came down to the back nine, Castlewood claimed the trophy and title as the …

60th Annual Bay Cities League Champions! 🏆

Marin came out strong at Marin Country Club, playing solid golf through the front nine and stretching its overnight lead to four points with just nine holes remaining.

But Castlewood wasn’t finished.

With the Championship on the line, Castlewood delivered an incredible back-nine comeback — erasing the deficit and capturing several key back-nine and overall points in foursomes 2 through 4.

Castlewood won the final day 23.5–12.5, completing the comeback and claiming the Championship 40–32. 🔥⛳

Congratulations to Castlewood, all of its players, and Coach Estee Terry on an unforgettable victory — and a Championship worthy of the Bay Cities League’s historic 60th season. 🏆

🏌🏼‍♀️👏 And we have to give a very special shout-out to Marin’s Kiana Briggs, who put together an extraordinary postseason.

Kiana secured an incredible 11.5 out of a possible 12 points during her four playoff matches while carding rounds of 68, 68, 68 and 66.

She now concludes her BCL eligibility after a record 11 seasons — leaving behind a remarkable BCL career and setting a standard for the generations of junior golfers who will follow her. 💙⛳

Thank you to Marin Country Club for hosting our Championship finale, and congratulations to both Castlewood and Marin on giving us a final worthy of this incredible season.

⛳ DAY 1 OF THE 60TH ANNUAL BCL CHAMPIONSHIP IS IN THE BOOKS.

What a day of Championship golf.

After 36 matches and plenty of momentum swings, Marin heads into the final day with a 19.5–16.5 lead over Castlewood.

Marin came out firing, taking 15.5 of the first 18 points.

Castlewood answered right back, winning 14 of the final 18 and cutting the lead to just three.

Now, it all comes down to tomorrow.

🏆 36.5 points wins the Championship
🔵 Marin needs 17
⚪ Castlewood needs 20

And there’s only one place where it will all be decided…

Marin Country Club.

A huge thank-you to Castlewood for hosting Day 1 and for an incredible day of competitive golf. The matches delivered exactly what you’d expect from a Championship.

As of today - July 31st - Kalea Rideau has reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the race for BCL’s “Influencer of the Year 2026”, with Micah Tamashiro right behind in second (and we mean right behind) and .golf holding strong in third, but inching closer to second.

🏌️ Bay Cities League Standings Update | Through July 18 🏌️

The race to the playoffs is officially on!!

With just one regular season match remaining this weekend - every point, every hole, and every shot matters.

This weekend will decide which teams earn their place in the BCL Playoffs, and the excitement couldn’t be higher.

At the top of the standings, Marin, Pasatiempo, and Stanford remain perfect at 5-0, setting the pace with undefeated records.

Right behind them, Peninsula, Santa Rosa, and Crow Canyon are all sitting at 4-1, ready to capitalize on any opportunity.

The battle in the middle of the standings is just as exciting, with Castlewood, Contra Costa, Boulder Ridge, and Half Moon Bay all entering the final week at 3-2.

With so much still on the line, this final match promises to be one of the most competitive weekends of the season.

Now it’s time for one final push.
