NU Swim Club is a club team that practices 3-4 times a week and competes against other universities

Northwestern Swim Club was founded in 2008 providing a club swimming opportunity for undergraduate students at Northwestern. We practice four times a week at Norris Aquatics Center at S**C and attend and host meets throughout the year.

Hope everyone has been enjoying the first few weeks of Winter Quarter classes! As we look forward to the quarter ahead, we wanted to share some fun memories from this past fall:

We kicked off the year with exciting turnouts at tryouts / drylands. As the quarter went on, we ended up having some AWESOME performances at the Michigan State, Madison, and Notre Dame meets! 🎉

We had a blast at our 10th Annual Rubber Ducky Invitational! Thank you to all of you who came out to support. We finished in 2nd place! Go cats!

Congratulations to all our swimmers that walked away with victory ducks!

Northwestern Ski Trip is always a highlight of the year for students and that’s no exception for swim club! What a fun time for some of our members who traveled to steamboat Colorado for a fun time up in the mountains together!

Even with finals fast approaching we still had a group of our dedicated swimmers attend a swim meet at Notre Dame today. We are proud of these guys for their accomplishments in the pool today and wish them luck for this upcoming week!! Keep up the hard work!

What a fun weekend full of fast swimming at the IUPUI CCS regionals this past weekend. Aside from team bonding we had several swimmers qualify for CCS nationals this weekend and several personal bests! We are so proud!! Lookin forward to North Carolina.

Some of our swimmers ran in the Krispy Kreme 5k this morning that was put on by our friends on the triathlon club. Great job at breaking the stereotype that swimmers don’t run!

We love to see our swim club members getting involved in campus philanthropy!! So proud of our swimmers who went to Breaststroke for Breast Cancer this weekend to use their their swimming skills to help out a worthy cause!
